
Makita has released two new five-piece kits to the expanding XGT system of equipment and tools. Both kits offer users a combination of tools for drilling, driving, fastening and cutting.
“Combo kits are a great way for users to expand their XGT tool system or to start new on the platform,” said Wayne Hart, communications manager, Makita U.S.A., Inc. “The two new five-piece kits feature top performing tools for drilling, driving, fastening, and cutting.”
These new five-piece kits are part of Makita XGT, an expanding system of 40V max and 80V max cordless equipment and tools. XGT gives users one system, from core handheld tools like drills and impact drivers to equipment-grade products including high-capacity saws, rotary hammers and power cutters – all powered by 40V max XGT batteries.

Both kits feature tools from the XGT system with capabilities like brushless motors and 40V XGT 4.0Ah batteries (BL4040) that reach full power in 45 minutes utilizing the 40V max XGT Rapid Optimum Charger (DC40RA).
All tools in the GT500M Kit and the GT501M Kit feature Makita-built brushless motors for performance and motor life. The tools and XGT 40V batteries utilize digital communication which delivers performance in jobsites.
